Quinoa Flakes Cooking Instructions
In a small sauce pan boil 1 cup water (or milk), stir in 1/3 cup Pereg’s Original Quinoa Flakes. Return to a boil and cook for 90 seconds, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and let rest for a minute, porridge will thicken. Enjoy plain or top with fresh fruit.
In a microwave safe bowl combine 1/3 cup Pereg’s Original Quinoa Flakes and 1 cup water (or milk). Microwave on high for 2 to 2:30 minutes, pause to stir half way through cooking time. Stir and let rest for a minute, enjoy plain or top with fresh fruit.

This is good for making a hot cereal that’s Kosher for Passover. Definitely need to flavor it— add cinnamon, raisins, nuts or nut butter—because it has a very neutral taste. Not the texture of oatmeal— more like a cream of wheat texture. The description says you can eat it as cold cereal with milk but it’s a fairly powdery texture — I wouldn’t recommend it for cold cereal. But I’m grateful to have this hot cereal option for Passover.
