Cocoa BBQ Chicken Legs
First, make the sauce; combine all the ingredients except for the chicken in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer, stirring occasionally and making sure the bottom doesn’t burn, for 30 minutes. Let cool.
Season chicken with a little salt and pepper on both sides and place a cooking rack on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Slather the sauce on both sides of the grilled chicken and broil for 5-7 minutes per side until slightly charred.
Adjust oven temperature to 350°F and slather more sauce on the chicken. Bake for 15 minutes or until a meat thermometer reads 165°F.

- 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
