StoveTop: Ina small saucepan boil 1 3/4 cups of water. Add 1/2 tbsp of olive oil, and the contents of the basmati rice bag. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 13 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand covered for 7 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving. Microwave: Place contents of basmati rice bag in a microwave-safe container. Add 1 3/4 cups water, cover loosely. Cook on high for 15 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.

Great Summer side dish

Refreshing and it goes expressly with seafood and chicken. We had it some fresh halibut and we got a bit more lemon in to our basmati rice. We found it a great additive. So the next time we made the lemon/herb basmati rice we added some fresh lemon zest and about a tablespoon of lemon juice. It woke up and brighten the seasoning of the rice
